Meet our LINKS Family, 2008-2010: Klaus and Martina Arnold
It is our privilege to offer prayer and financial support for this couple, over the next two years, as they live their walk with Jesus in Northern Europe. Let me introduce you to them...
Klaus is the president (rector) of European Nazarene College (EuNC) and teaches in the area of theology. Martina is the music director of EuNC and directs various choirs. They have two daughters: Dorothee, aged 24, is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and involved in music ministry; Kathrin, aged 22, is a graduate from MidAmerica Nazarene University and involved in a church plant project in Mainz, Germany.
Klaus and Martina both enjoy reading and listening to comtemporary Christain music. They also like to travel. Klaus is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. (Hmmmm...sounds a little suspicious to me. Our last LINKS couple were great KC fans as well. Is this an NMI requirement? You must support Kansas City sports to serve overseas? Ha ha.)
How can you support this couple over the next two years?
1. Pray, pray, pray. (Check the church newsletter for current prayer and praises for the Arnolds.)
2. Check out the college EuNC.
3. Send a birthday card: Martina, 7/29; Klaus, 1/11.
4. Send an anniversary card: July 30, 1983.
5. Talk to Susan about sending a package.
6. Pray, pray, pray for them.

How Could He Forgive? Pakistan
A 30 year old man shares that he was a bad person. He did not go to church or care about other people. One day I heard that the JESUS Film Team was planning to come to our village. Many people were very excited to see the film, but I did not care about it. When the team set the film up, I came to watch with everyone else. I was not really interested in it, but when I saw Jesus forgiving the people who hung Him on the cross, I was touched. I could not understand how Jesus could forgive the people who made Him suffer so much. I realized that I never forgive people who mistreat me. The JESUS Film changed my life. I decided to leave my bad life and become a Christian.
Children's Project , 2007-2009 - Madagascar Street Kids Center
This year's Children's project is actually a two-year project. Our kids are raising money to feed, educate and share Jesus with 340 children living in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
These 340 children visit the Madagascar Street Kids Center for hot meals and to attend classes to prepare them for public or private schools. The center also provides vocational training for older children that are unable to enter the educational system. Christian workers share Bible lessons, chapel services and use relational evangelism in order to introduce the children and their families to Christ.
DISTRICT GOAL: $12,000 - You can contribute today. Just mark it: "Madagascar- Children's District Project" and deliver your gift to the church. If you have a great idea for a fundraiser, contact Pastor Bob or Susan and let's get rolling!
If you have questions E-mail Susan.
